A New Adventure for Little Danbo

Big Danbo took Little Danbo out for his first try at skateboarding today. (See my previous post, An Unexpected Parcel Arrives to learn how little Danbo acquired a miniature skateboard of his own).

You will enrich your life immeasurably if you approach it with a sense of wonder and discovery, and always challenge yourself to try new things.

  1. Look at this little guy go! (Now I know he’s the younger sibling ;))
The quotes are perfect beneath each photo, and I love how each shot portrays what Little Danbo is going through, so many emotions: uncertainty/apprehension/excitement. The green bokeh background from the trees make his brown colour stand out. And the facial expressions! :)

This post reminded me of what it felt like to first ride a bike, and how I felt when I finally decided to try ‘real photography.’ You’ve made my rainy Monday morning so much brighter.

    “Even though you’re growing up,
you should never stop having fun”… so true!!
May you have a lovely week ahead :)

    • Thank you so much for your wonderful thoughts, Takami! I really like what you said about that amazing feeling the first time you ride a bike all by yourself… I well recall that feeling myself and I do think that’s what Little Danbo must have felt too! I think learning anything new feels exhilarating and even more so when there’s some challenge involved. I also think it keeps us young at heart! Thanks again, Takami, for your very thoughtful comments. I’m glad you enjoyed this playful post. Wishing you a very happy week ahead! :)))

  2. A stellar pictorial! Your captions compliment the PERFECT images wonderfully… I loved the “moment of unsteadiness”! Super focusing and perfect aperture!

    Brightened my day!
